What happens if you forget to register or change your address? Don't worry! New Hampshire has same day registration. What this mean is if you are not a registered voter, or you aren't registered at your current address - it's no big deal. Just head to your polling place with a few items so you can prove "age, citizenship, and domicile." Usually that means bringing your driver's license or passport and a utility bill. Or, you can request a "domicile affidavit" from the polling officials, which you sign to attest that you do indeed reside in that town or city ward. By law they can't refuse to give it to you if you request it.
