To Engage, Involve and Elect
The New Hampshire Young Democrats is an inclusive, statewide organization of 18-36 year olds that exists to engage and involve young people in New Hampshire’s political community, mentor and empower a new generation of New Hampshire Leaders, and advance progressive ideals and values.
The NHYD Leadership Board recently ratified "The 603 in '08: NH's Young Democratic Principles." "603 in 08" covers 5 key issues impacting NH's young adults. It will serve as a political guide for NH's Young Democratic voters and candidates. A copy can be downloaded by clicking here.
Local NHYD chapters have been formed in the Upper Valley, Monadnock, Seacoast and Nashua regions. Statewide NHYD Caucuses include the NH High School Democrats Caucus and the 603 Forward Young Candidates Caucus.
The NHYD is separate from but affiliated with the New Hampshire Democratic Party. The NHYD is part of the Young Democrats of America and works in partnership with the College Democrats of New Hampshire.
